What is ATR?
Atr is the Persian word for perfume. In an effort to decolonize scent and establish our own identity as a Persian fashion and fragrance house, Arshan Persia has chosen to forgo perfumery traditions of French lingo.
Why does everything ship on pre-order? Can I get faster shipping?
There are many reasons we ship on a pre-order basis. First and foremost, Arshan Persia is a made-to-order business. Except on rare occasions, all products start being made upon order. Not only is this helpful as a business run by one person, but it's a far more sustainable approach. From clothing to fragrance, no materials go to waste. For those reasons, we do not offer faster shipping options. You can expect your order to be shipped out the week of the pre-order launch date.
Where is my package?
We ship on a pre-order based schedule. Orders placed will begin shipping out in the order they were received on the week of the scheduled pre-order date. Once your shipping label has been printed, you will receive an email stating that your order has entered "shipped" status. Please follow the tracking number provided for all updates leading to delivery. If you find that your item is still in "shipped" status, that means your order is being processed. Once your tracking has been updated to "In Transit", that means your order is on its way to you! Tracking updates will be provided by the carrier. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for packages where the tracking indicates delivery to your address.
Where do you ship?
Currently we sell exclusively on the ArshanPersia.com website and only ship to the contiguous United States. We look forward to shipping to new locations in the future and will be sure to announce it when those opportunities arise.
Are your fragrances all-natural/vegan?
Although we don't make specific claims regarding our fragrances (due to not having had specific tests to verify), we are particular about where the ingredients are sourced and whether they are animal-derived to avoid unnecessary and potentially harmful fillers and/or animal cruelty. Our products are not tested on animals, and where an animal-derived material would be used, we choose the non-animal derived alternative. We are constantly researching for better alternatives, should it be found that a current material used raises concern. All perfumes in the Arshan Persia collection are made with organic, culinary grade alcohol as the carrier and natural preservative, along with a combination of essential oils, nature-derived ingredients and extracts and a unique blend of aroma materials. We also use aroma materials from suppliers that aim to minimize/eliminate the addition of phthalates.
What is your cancellation/return/refund policy?
Due to the personal care and made-to-order nature of Arshan Persia products, we have a strict policy of absolutely no cancellations, returns or refunds. Your selected payment method will be charged at the time you place your order. All sales are final.
